Culinary Life Farm

Culinary Life Farm raises its English Large Black pigs rotationally, with a mix of open pasture and silvopasture where pigs are encouraged to root and forage; supplemental feed is described as limited and organic. Laying chickens receive a daily diet of garden scraps and weeds and contribute compost to the farm's gardens. Fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown organically on the farm, and plants are germinated or propagated using organic methods and nutrients. The farm is designed around permaculture principles, with the layout following land contours to aid rainwater absorption and retention. No chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides are used on the land, and holistic animal management practices are applied to keep animals free from chemical exposure. Plans for rainwater collection and solar power are incorporated into the farm's design.
