Family-run olive farm producing estate-grown, cold-press extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The Olive Plantation is a 10-acre olive orchard and working farm in Temecula Wine Country, operated by the Fenton family. The farm was established in 2010, when Dave and Jenna Fenton planted over 1,000 olive trees across a hillside overlooking Pauba Valley. The farm produces extra virgin olive oil from its own estate-grown olives, alongside a selection of balsamic vinegars. The on-farm sales room is open on weekends for tastings and purchases, offering visitors a look at how the oil is grown and milled. The Olive Plantation has earned world and competition-level awards for its extra virgin olive oil. Learn more on their About Page.
All olives are grown, harvested, and milled on the farm's 10-acre property. Harvesting is done by hand during the fall season, with milling beginning before the olives fully ripen in order to preserve peak polyphenol content. The farm uses only the first cold-press method for milling. Soil health is maintained through mulch and manure, reducing reliance on synthetic fertilizers, and organic pest control methods are used to minimize harm to the farm's ecosystem. Biodiverse cover crops and native shrubs and grasses are maintained alongside the olive trees to support habitat and biodiversity on the property. Once milled, the oil is racked until clear before bottling.
