A diversified family farm offering heirloom produce, eggs, and honey through a CSA and farmers markets.
Stargazer Hollow Family Farm is a small, diversified operation in Fitchburg, MA, run by Meghan Buckley and Jay Mendelsohn. The farm raises ducks, chickens, turkeys, geese, quail, and sheep, and keeps bees for honey. It grows heirloom fruits and vegetables and offers an 18-week seasonal CSA with Mini, Half, and Full share tiers. CSA members can add on weekly eggs, gourmet mushrooms, and cut flowers, and each share comes with a weekly recipe drawing at least 80% of its ingredients from the farm and its farmers' market partners. Shares are available through home delivery across Central Massachusetts and the South Shore, or by pickup at the farm, the Lunenburg Artisan Market, and the Hingham Farmers Market. Stargazer Hollow is a member of the Northeast Organic Farming Association and the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association. Learn more on their About Page.
Stargazer Hollow Family Farm focuses on heirloom varieties and describes its growing approach as regenerative agriculture. The farm treats plants only when necessary, and exclusively with OMRI-listed (organic) treatments. It cultivates produce with methods intended to protect the environment, enrich the soil, and conserve water.
