Soffel Farms is a family-owned and -operated apiary and farm established well over 60 years ago by Joe Soffel in Redlands, California. The beekeeping tradition passed from Joe to his son Gil, and then to Gil's son Ron, who now runs the operation alongside his three sons Joe, Travis, and Derrick. The farm's core specialty is honey production and pollination services. It sells raw local honey in several varieties, seasonal fruit and produce, a honey-based BBQ sauce, and blueberry jam. Soffel Farms describes its honey as 100% raw and pure. Honey varieties include Redlands Wildflower (sourced from local fields), Orange Blossom (straight from Redlands orange groves), and Colorado Clover (from a Southern Colorado location). The farm's beekeeping cycle follows the seasons: bees pollinate in spring and produce honey through summer. The BBQ sauce is made with 38% orange blossom honey and no added sugar.
