Certified Naturally Grown farm offering seasonal fruits, garlic, pastured eggs, honey, wool, and bakery products.
Sharon Creek Farm is run by Sally Shearman, a fourth-generation farmer who grew up on a farm in the UK. The farm is small and diversified, organized according to permaculture principles. It produces seasonal small fruits and tree fruits, hardneck garlic varieties, pastured duck, chicken, goose, and quail eggs, honey from orchard hives, and wool and wool products from a fibre flock of Shetland and Babydoll sheep. The farm also carries a range of bakery products made with organic flour, sourced from Blue Collar Bakery, a business owned and operated by Sally's daughter and her partner. Products are available through an on-farm market that opens each season on the Victoria Day weekend, and through an online store offering year-round ordering with pickup by appointment during the off-season. All produce at Sharon Creek Farm is Certified Naturally Grown. The farm uses organic farming practices and is organized according to permaculture principles, applying regenerative farming methods throughout. Its stated focus is on restoring neglected farmland to health, respecting natural habitat and its inhabitants, and minimizing its carbon footprint. The farm also prioritizes fostering a healthy soil microbiome. Bakery products carried through the farm are made with organic flour.
