Texas Longhorn beef and registered breeding cattle, raised on native grass in Colorado since 1974.
Searle Ranch raises registered Texas Longhorn cattle and sells Longhorn Lean Beef directly to consumers from its Monument, Colorado property. The operation has been producing Texas Longhorn cattle for over 50 years, marketing both breeding stock across the U.S. and beef to families seeking open-range beef. Beef is available in quarters, halves, or whole, cut and packaged to standard specifications, as well as in 35-lb boxes of 94% lean premium ground beef and, in limited quantities, petite filets and chuck roasts. Customers pick up their orders at the Monument ranch, where beef is stored in commercial freezers. Learn more on their About Page.
Searle Ranch cattle graze on native grasses at the Monument ranch and at the Silverado Ranch in Ellicott, drinking from spring-fed headwaters or pure well water. The ranch does not use steroids or feed antibiotics, and pastures are not treated with chemical fertilizer or insecticides. Cattle receive a non-GMO finishing ration to enhance taste and texture, along with high-quality hay and a protein supplement in winter. The 94% lean premium ground beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. All beef is processed under USDA inspection, then flash-frozen and sealed in Cryovac packages.
