A compact urban grocery mart with a coffee bar, grab-and-go food, and locally sourced products.

Royal Blue Grocery is a compact urban market that opened in Downtown Austin in 2006. We now operate six locations across Downtown Austin and one in San Antonio, each tailored specifically for the neighborhood and the people it serves. We offer a little bit of everything: Proud Mary coffee from our full coffee bar, freshly prepared grab-and-go items, conventional grocery staples, and convenience goods. Our shelves carry a wide range of locally sourced products from unique brands. Some call us a bodega, others a corner store. We are a modern urban grocery store that has what you need, where you need it, and when you need it. Catering is also available for office orders and larger groups.

We partner with a range of local makers and producers to stock our stores. Our coffee bar features Proud Mary, a locally roasted coffee. We carry pizza by the slice from Dovetail, baked goods from local bakeries including Sour Duck, Gati, and Rosen's Bagels, and pastries and cakes from La Patisserie and Cake and Spoon. Local producers also supply us with pasture-raised eggs from Happy Chick Farms, empanadas from Yapa Empanadas, and ice cream from LUV FATS, made with avocado and coconut fats. Items from local kitchen makers are made fresh and hand-delivered to our stores.
