Rhubarb Botanicals

Rhubarb Botanicals is a specialty cut flower farm and herbal apothecary owned by herbalist and farmer Emma Barber and Jeremy Wilhelm on 40 acres just north of Mount Vernon, Iowa. The farm grows over 100 varieties of cut flowers seasonally: ranunculus, snapdragons, and poppies in spring; lisianthus and zinnias in mid-summer; and dahlias and eucalyptus in fall. Flowers are sold via a weekly CSA with pick-up in Mount Vernon, Iowa City, and Cedar Rapids, Bulk Blooms Buckets for DIY events, the farm store, the Iowa City Farmers Market, and wholesale to area florists and floral designers. The apothecary line includes tea blends, salt and spice blends, cocktail bitters, tinctures, salves, body butters, syrups, and elderberry products.
