Certified organic citrus, cut flowers, and dried flower arrangements from a 20-acre family farm.
Rainwater Ranch is a certified organic, family-owned farm on twenty acres in Yolo County. Lauren McNees and Lee Millon took ownership in 2014, converting the existing navel orange grove to certified organic and later expanding into flower production. The farm grows Washington Navel oranges and Lisbon lemons on nearly 50-year-old trees, available in winter. Its five acres of cut flowers, including tulips, irises, sunflowers, dahlias, and gladiolus, are available as market bouquets, single-variety bunches, and dried arrangements from late winter through fall. Rainwater Ranch also offers a limited number of wedding flower arrangements using its own seasonally grown flowers. Products are sold at farmers markets and through wholesale retail partners.
Rainwater Ranch holds CCOF certification and USDA NOP organic certification for its crops and handling. The farm states that growing organically is a top priority, and it works to minimize tillage and reduce plastic use across its operations. Orange trees on the property are nearly 50 years old; the farm picks citrus at peak quality and packs it within days of harvest for market and store delivery.
