Overview
A diversified vegetable farm offering produce, pastured poultry, eggs, and a CSA in Henry County.
Priest Family Farm is a small, diversified vegetable and fruit farm operated by the Priest family in Henry County. The farm runs three greenhouses alongside close to two acres of field production, allowing it to grow crops across multiple seasons. It raises pastured poultry and maintains an egg-laying flock. Customers can buy direct through an on-farm stand, at the Henry County Farmers Market, through the Market Wagon online platform, and at the Fortville market. The farm also offers a CSA program for those who want a regular share of its harvest. Learn more on their About Page.
Priest Family Farm uses season extension techniques, including greenhouse production, to grow crops year-round rather than only during the traditional outdoor growing season. Poultry on the farm is raised on pasture and fed non-GMO feeds. The farm operates at a small scale, with the family managing greenhouse work, field production, and direct sales themselves.
