Peterson's

Peterson Groves is a historic Indian River County citrus operation with roots going back to 1913, now run by the Barkwell family. The grove grows a wide range of Florida citrus across a seasonal calendar: navel oranges, Ruby Red and Crimson grapefruit, several tangerine varieties, HoneyBells, Temple oranges, and Valencia oranges. Peterson Groves also operates a farm stand and nursery, open since 2017, offering seasonal produce, farm fresh eggs, local honey, gourmet dressings, dips, sauces, jellies, marmalades, and Florida specialty foods. The historic citrus packing house on the property is one of the oldest in the county. A "Fruit of the Month Club" lets customers receive rotating seasonal varieties throughout the citrus season.
