Small family farm raising pasture-raised chicken, free-range eggs, and seasonal turkeys on an 8-acre property.
Paradise Found Farm is a small family farm in Tallahassee, Florida, founded in 2015 after what began as a backyard flock of seven chickens. The farm has since grown to an 8-acre property with over 200 laying hens and more than 2,500 broilers raised annually. Paradise Found Farm offers pasture-raised whole chickens, chicken parts, free-range eggs by the dozen in large and pullet sizes, and seasonal turkeys. All birds are raised and processed on the farm by the Cogswell family. Livestock guardian dogs keep a watchful eye on the flocks, protecting them from local predators. Learn more on their About Page.
Cornish Cross broilers are moved to fresh pasture every day using mobile chicken tractors, which provide shelter from sun, rain, and predators while keeping birds on grass and bugs. Day-old chicks arrive from So Big Farms hatchery in Texas, spend their first weeks in a brooder, and move to pasture within three weeks. The laying flock spends nights in a coop and days in large open runs, with many hens free-ranging the property. All birds are fed Kraut Creek non-GMO feed. When processing time comes, each bird is handled on-farm by the family to ensure humane treatment throughout.
