Old Friends Farm

Old Friends Farm is a 28-acre USDA Certified Organic farm in Amherst, Massachusetts. It is widely known for pioneering Northeast-grown ginger and turmeric, alongside a broad range of certified organic salad greens, vegetables, and cut flowers. The farm also produces specialty products made from its own ginger and turmeric, including Ginger Syrup, Ginger Honey, Turmeric Honey, Elderberry Turmeric Honey, spices, and teas. Products are available at farmers' markets, through mail order, and wholesale to stores, restaurants, florists, and distributors throughout the Northeast. At markets, the farm accepts credit cards, WIC, and SNAP/EBT, and participates in the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP).
