Overview

A 120-acre biodynamic CSA farm growing vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs for Pioneer Valley and Boston-area shareholders.

Brookfield Farm is a 120-acre farm offering Community Supported Agriculture shares to households in the Pioneer Valley and greater Boston area. One of the earliest CSA farms in the United States, it has grown food for shareholders since 1986. The farm tends 30 acres of crops and produces around 250,000 lbs of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs each year for over 600 member households. Shareholders can pick up shares at the on-farm Farm Shop in the barn, receive packed boxes at Boston-area drop sites, or access storage crops through a winter share distributed from the farm's root cellar. Pick-your-own crops, woodland trails, seasonal festivals, and educational programs are also available. The farm is owned by the Biodynamic Farmland Conservation Trust, a non-profit created to preserve the farm's future, and accepts SNAP payments. Learn more on their About Page.
