Multi-generational Texas ranch raising USDA Certified Grass Fed Angus beef and Dorper lamb.
Midkiff IV Ranch is a multi-generational ranch with heritage dating to 1895, recognized as the first Midland County Heritage Ranch for 100 years of continued operation. The ranch raises Angus, Wagyu, and Akaushi cattle alongside Dorper lambs, selling directly to customers across Central Texas. Beef is sold by the whole or half animal, vacuum-sealed and delivered after a 21-day dry-aging process, and individual cuts and lamb are also available. Ready-made box deals include options like the Ranch Box, Roundup Box, and Tailgate Box. Customers can order and pick up at several farmers markets in the Austin and San Antonio areas, including locations in New Braunfels, Georgetown, and Austin.
Midkiff IV Ranch holds USDA Grass (Forage) Fed certification for its cattle, and is also Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certified. The ranch uses no added growth hormones or antibiotics; if an animal requires antibiotics, it is removed from the beef program. The operation raises no GMO animals and feeds no grain to its cattle, maintaining a strict grass-and-forage-only diet. Beef is dry-aged for 21 days before being vacuum-sealed and delivered to the customer. The ranch is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA).
