Middlebury Farms

Middlebury Farms is a certified organic vegetable farm in Harvard, Illinois, founded and operated by husband-and-wife team Peter and Elizabeth Grubbe. Peter is a first-generation farmer and McHenry County native with over a decade of hands-on farming experience. The farm grows more than 20 varieties of seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers across 10 acres of organic fields. Produce reaches customers through a CSA farm box program, local farmers markets, and partnering restaurants. The farm also hosts seasonal farm-to-table dinners featuring guided farm tours and multi-course meals prepared with its own harvest. Visits to the farm are by appointment or during scheduled public events only.
