Small-scale vegetable, egg, honey, and flower farm on one of Uxbridge's oldest farm properties.
Martin Brown Farm is a small-scale farm in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, operated by Farmer John Demers on a property with roots going back to 1836. The farm grows vegetables, and also produces eggs, honey, apples, pears, and flowers. Customers can shop at a self-service roadside stand, open most weekends through spring, summer, and fall. The farm also sells at the Out to Lunch Farmers Market on the Worcester Common on Wednesdays. A high tunnel, completed in 2023, helps extend the growing seasons in spring and fall and protects crops from the elements.
Martin Brown Farm grows its vegetables using organic methods. Its high tunnel extends the growing season and provides additional crop protection without the use of harsh inputs.
