Tillfree Farm & Services

Tillfree Farm & Services uses organic, regenerative, no-till farming practices across all its crops. The farm does not disturb the soil through tillage, a choice it makes to protect soil structure, support beneficial organisms, and build long-term soil health. Locally sourced compost, wood chips, and leaves replace bagged fertilizers, and a diverse mix of food crops and cover crops is planted to maintain soil fertility and naturally loosen the ground. Companion plants are selected to attract beneficial insects, eliminating the need for chemical insecticides. The farm views itself as a living ecosystem and makes every growing decision with the goal of working with natural processes rather than against them.
