Raw, unheated honey from Bay Area microclimates, plus honeycomb, pollen, beeswax, and candles.
Marshall's Farm Honey is a family-owned apiary producing raw, pure honey from hives placed across the hills, valleys, and microclimates of the San Francisco Bay Area. Rather than blending harvests, the business keeps each microclimate's honey separate, preserving the distinct flavor, texture, and color that comes from each area's local blooms. The apiary has been a Bay Area brand for over 33 years and supplies grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers markets throughout the region. Beyond honey, it offers honeycomb, pollen, beeswax, candles, honey sticks, and gift boxes. All honey carries a Kosher certification, and the business also holds a GAP Audit and annual Food Safety Certification. Learn more on their About Page.
Marshall's Farm Honey extracts and jars honey unheated and with minimal filtering, keeping it in raw form. Hives are placed near wild, all-natural locations and away from industrial areas, and the business states it does not use harsh chemicals on its hives. To strengthen hive sustainability, the apiary raises its own queens and introduces them with local bees rather than importing queens or hives from other states, a practice it describes as producing stronger, locally adapted colonies. On the packaging side, the business has moved from foam to biodegradable cornstarch packing peanuts, reduced the number of jar sizes (including eliminating a plastic one), and replaced artificially flavored and colored honey sticks with three natural wildflower varieties.
