Overview

CCOF and USDA certified organic farm growing heirloom vegetables, heritage-breed livestock, and biodynamic pasta.

Lone Willow Ranch is a small, family-owned organic farm situated along the San Joaquin River north of Firebaugh, California, owned and operated by John M. Teixeira. The ranch has held CCOF Certified Organic status since 1991 and is also USDA Certified Organic. Its crop offerings include heirloom tomatoes (with more than 300 varieties grown for seed and over 50 for fresh market), heirloom beans, garlic, salsa, seeds, vegetable transplants, and Demeter Certified Biodynamic pasta made from on-farm heirloom wheats including Ethiopian Emmer and Soft Spring Sonora. On the livestock side, the ranch raises heritage-breed pigs, goats, turkeys, and chickens, and keeps honey bees. Pork is sold by the half or whole, whole goats are available seasonally, pastured turkeys are offered for pre-order, and free-range eggs are sold by the dozen. Learn more on their About Page.
