Overview
Organically grown produce, microgreens, and flowers from a 6-acre regenerative farm, plus a CSA program and on-site Farm Store.
Life Farms is a 6-acre regenerative farm in Clearwater, Florida, growing vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit, and microgreens without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. The farm has been growing organically since its first plants went into the ground in spring 2013, with its first CSA season launching that fall. In addition to its own crops, Life Farms partners with neighboring farms to offer pasture-raised chicken, eggs, mushrooms, baked and canned goods, and grass-fed/grass-finished beef through its on-site Farm Store. Products are also sold at farmer's markets in Dunedin and St. Pete, and the farm supplies several restaurants and organizations across the Tampa Bay area. Learn more on their About Page.
Life Farms grows all of its produce organically and states it has never used synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers on the farm. The operation uses regenerative agricultural practices aimed at enhancing soil health, promoting biodiversity, and supporting long-term sustainability. Produce varieties are chosen for how well they perform in the local Florida climate. Most produce is harvested the same day members pick up their CSA shares. When produce shares are supplemented beyond the farm's own harvest, Life Farms sources from nearby farms that it says share its growing practices. Pasture-raised chicken, eggs, and grass-fed/grass-finished beef available in the Farm Store come from partner local farms.
