Family farm stand selling sustainably raised meats, seasonal produce, jams, and Marcie's Pies.
Jimenez Family Farm is a small-scale family operation in the Santa Ynez Valley, run by Marcie and Gustavo Jimenez. Marcie and Gustavo purchased the farm in 2001 and began growing specialty fruits and vegetables for farmers markets. The farm now spans over 25 acres and sells at up to 15 certified farmers markets per week, with the couple's two grown children helping at the stands. Products include sustainably raised fruits and vegetables, farm-raised pork, rabbit, quail, and chicken, grass-fed lamb and goat, handmade jams and preserves, and Marcie's Pies. Preserves are also available by mail order. Marcie's Pies are offered in a wide range of fruit flavors, with seasonal varieties, gluten-free options, and no-sugar-added varieties also available. Jimenez Family Farm describes its approach as "beyond organic" and sustainable. Its meats are naturally raised and free of antibiotics and hormones. The farm raises pork, rabbit, quail, chicken, lamb, and goat on the property. Fruits and vegetables are described as sustainably raised. The no-sugar-added pie varieties are made with organic whole wheat pastry flour, organic coconut oil, and organic agave nectar. Whole-animal pricing and custom cut-and-wrap are available for meat purchases.
