Overview

Veteran-owned Indiana farm offering pasture-raised KuneKune pork, heritage lamb, grass-fed yak, lard-based apothecary goods, and raw wool.

IrishMudd Farm is a veteran-owned, family-run homestead operated by Steve and Ethel Baker and their three boys in Northern Indiana. The farm began in 2014 with rare-breed chickens, heritage turkeys, and exotic pheasants, then expanded in 2018 to include KuneKune pigs, which became central to the operation. It has since grown to raise Valais Blacknose and Lincoln Longwool sheep, grass-fed yaks, heritage poultry, and honeybees, alongside a peafowl flock. IrishMudd offers retail cuts of KuneKune pork, heritage lamb, and yak meat, as well as a seasonal meat CSA called the Boots and Roots Harvest Box. Beyond food, the farm produces a line of KuneKune lard-based apothecary goods, including soaps, salves, and candles, and offers wool and fiber products from its sheep.
