Independence Ark Farm is a first-generation, family-owned operation run by the Babac family, raising Black Angus cattle, heritage chickens, La Mancha milk goats, and pasture-raised hogs. The farm sells grass-fed and grass-finished beef in a range of bundle sizes and à la carte cuts, alongside heritage pork and beef tallow products. Beef is USDA inspected and packaged before shipping. The farm operates as a direct-to-consumer, farm-to-table business, selling without membership fees or middlemen. The original homestead property in Independence County also operates as a ranch vacation rental. Learn more on their About Page.
Independence Ark Farm raises its Black Angus herd on pasture, feeding cattle grass from start to finish with no grain finishing. Hogs are pasture-raised. The farm states it does not spray pesticides or fertilizers on its pastureland. The beef is USDA inspected and packaged. The farm describes its approach as regenerative ranching, focused on working with the natural cycle of the land.
