Ozark Valley Bison Ranch, LLC is a 200-acre working ranch established in 2016 on land that had been farmed since the early 1800s. The ranch raises 100% pure Plains Bison, DNA-tested to be free of cattle introgression, and sells USDA-inspected bison meat in cuts including ground, steaks, roasts, and whole or half portions. It also offers bison hides and skulls, and sells breeding stock, including heifers and bulls, by private sale and at auction. By appointment, the ranch welcomes visitors for farm tours, and it is listed on Airbnb for overnight stays. Ozark Valley Bison Ranch, LLC holds USDA Certified Grass-Fed status and Certified Grass-Fed certification by A Greener World (AGW), as well as Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) certification from A Greener World. Under these certifications, bison are fed a 100% grass and forage diet from weaning onward, with no grain, grain by-products, corn, soy, or feed concentrates permitted. Animals are raised free-range on pasture for their entire lives. No growth hormones, sub-therapeutic antibiotics, or GMO feeds are used. All meat is USDA inspected and must be slaughtered at an AWA-recommended facility. The ranch also states that it practices holistic and regenerative farming.
