Humble Nature Farm is a small, family-owned and operated farm situated on 20 acres near Ichetucknee Springs in Lake City, Florida. The family relocated from the city in 2017, and that same year discovered regenerative agriculture and holistic farm management, which shaped the foundation of everything they do. The farm raises pastured poultry, including chickens and turkeys, as well as eggs. In addition to its fresh poultry and eggs, the farm produces baked goods and preserves. Humble Nature Farm raises its poultry outside on pasture using mobile hoop-house chicken tractors. The hoop-houses are moved to fresh patches of land regularly, giving birds access to new grasses and insects while also supporting pasture management. The primary feed is a mixture of freshly milled Non-GMO, pesticide-free and herbicide-free grains, corn, supplemental nutrients, and trace minerals. Water for the animals is sourced from the nearby Ichetucknee Springs. The farm does not administer antibiotics or hormones to its poultry, and does not use herbicides or pesticides on the land. Turkeys are raised on the same pastured model and are available for reservation on a seasonal basis.
