Homestead Gristmill

Homestead Gristmill is a working flour mill in Waco, Texas, established in 2003. We mill wheat, corn, rye, and other grains on granite stones and sell fresh flour, cornmeal, grits, baking mixes, and pantry goods through our mill store and online shop. The mill began as an eighteenth-century watermill in Long Valley, New Jersey; its timber frame and machinery were later moved and rebuilt in Central Texas, and the water wheel turns here today. Our lineup includes whole wheat, spelt, einkorn, rye, oat, and pastry flour, plus stone-ground cornmeal, polenta, and grits. We serve home bakers, restaurants, bakeries, and retail partners, and customers can shop in the mill store (open Monday through Saturday) or order for shipping. Learn more on their About Page.
