HEMI Blueberry Farm (By Appointment Only)

HEMI Blueberry Farm is a family-owned and operated farm established in 2015 by Hector Buitrago and Michele Lamassonne. Its first crop came in late May 2017. The farm grows six varieties of blueberries, four varieties of thornless blackberries, and four types of muscadine grapes, including the Titan, a jumbo variety developed by the University of Georgia. Visitors can pick their own fruit in season, with blueberries and blackberries available from late May through the end of July and muscadine grapes available in August and September. Beyond fresh-picked fruit, the farm sells frozen blueberries, blueberry preserves, blueberry syrup, blueberry muffins, blueberry lemonade, and local honey. The farm also participates in a local farmers market.
