Greener Pastures Chicken is a Texas pasture-raised poultry farm co-founded by Von Miller, a former Super Bowl MVP who grew up raising chickens and studied poultry science at Texas A&M University. We are one of the nation's first Regenerative Organic Certified poultry operations, focused on building a better food system through higher farming standards. Our product lineup includes whole chickens, bone-in thighs, breasts, tenders, wings, drumsticks, and ground chicken. We hold certifications including USDA Organic, Regenerative Organic Certified, Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Humane, Real Organic Project, GoTexan, and Halal (Zabiha). Our birds are never raised with antibiotics or hormones, and our chicken is gluten free.

Chicks spend their first three weeks in a brooder to develop feathers and regulate body temperature, then move to open pasture for the rest of their lives where they forage freely on native grasses, bugs, and grit. Mobile housing and rotational grazing move birds to a fresh section of pasture every day, allowing land to recover while returning nutrients to the soil. Chicken manure breaks down into vital nutrients that feed soil biology, adding organic matter and improving grassland health over time. Birds are supplemented with a certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified feed that can include corn, soy, sorghum, sunflower, alfalfa, vitamins, and trace minerals. The farm and feed ingredients are never sprayed with synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or desiccants. Animal welfare is verified by Certified Humane and Global Animal Partnership (GAP) certifications, and all poultry is processed to Halal (Zabiha) standards.
