Grass-finished beef, pastured pork, and pasture-raised chicken from a regenerative farm.
Grass Fed Eats is a Chicago-based farm operation that raises grass-finished beef, pastured pork, and pasture-raised chickens on its farm outside South Haven, Michigan. The business sells individual cuts, including steaks, ground beef, chuck roast, beef liver, stew meat, bacon, Italian sausages, and breakfast sausage, as well as whole and half animal deposits. Subscription boxes are also available. Customers can shop online or visit Grass Fed Eats at the Garfield Ridge Farmers Market on Saturdays.
Grass Fed Eats practices regenerative farming, focusing on topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity, improving the water cycle, and restoring soil biodiversity. Its cattle graze exclusively on pasture and receive no grain. Pigs are rotated through their own pastures, where they forage for bugs and plants and are supplemented with non-GMO grains sourced from Amish farmers. Chickens are raised on the same pastures as the cattle, eating wildflowers, bugs, insects, grasses, legumes, and worms, along with a non-GMO grain supplement.
