Regenerative organic farm and mill growing and selling ancient grains, heritage wheats, and einkorn pasta
Grand Teton Ancient Grains is a sixth-generation, family-owned and operated farm and mill nestled at the foothills of the Grand Teton mountain range in southeast Idaho. The business has been growing and milling ancient grains for more than fifteen years, with a mission to restore these varieties to the family table. Its grain lineup includes einkorn, spelt, emmer, khorasan, millet, rye, black nile barley, durum, hard and soft wheats, and einkorn pasta. The farm also carries grain mills and cookbooks. Grains are grown on the family's Teton farm and through trusted contracted growers in the northwest regions of North America, all held to the same organic standards. Learn more on their About Page.
Grand Teton Ancient Grains farms using regenerative organic methods. Its practices include crop rotation, cover cropping, intercropping, minimized tillage, composting, and microbiological soil testing and inoculation. No chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, or glyphosate are used on any crops, and the farm tests its grains to verify they are glyphosate-free. The operation runs a non-GMO seed program managed in-house to preserve and protect seed integrity. All products sold through the farm are certified 100% Organic by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture under the USDA.
