Gowin Valley Farms Mushrooms is a small family-owned farm in Rocky Face, Georgia, growing Certified Naturally Grown gourmet mushrooms on land that has been in the family since 1964. Owner Emma Reigel founded the mushroom operation in 2020, carrying on her grandfather's farming legacy. The farm cultivates a wide range of varieties including Lion's Mane, multiple oyster types, Chestnut, King Trumpet, Maitake, Shiitake, Beech, Pioppino, Nameko, Enoki, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Turkey Tail. Products include fresh mushrooms, dried mushrooms, extracts, mushroom coffee, grow kits, and a weekly or bi-weekly Fresh Mushroom CSA subscription box. Emma and her team are also Wild Mushroom Food Safety Certified foragers, offering seasonally foraged varieties such as Chanterelles, Lobster mushrooms, and Chicken of the Woods.
