A 3-acre family farm growing microgreens, salad greens, vegetables, and herbs in north Jacksonville.
Goodson's Gardens is a 3-acre family farm founded in 2019 by Robert Goodson on the north side of Jacksonville, Florida. The farm grows living microgreens, salad greens, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and occasional flowers, all harvested fresh to order. Customers can pick up orders weekly or biweekly directly at the farm. Beyond produce, the farm offers on-site gardening lessons for kids, drawing on founder Robert Goodson's six years of teaching experience. Lessons are hands-on and cover everything from site preparation and seeding to harvesting. Garden tutoring sessions and group lessons for co-ops, micro-schools, and churches are also available.
Goodson's Gardens grows all of its produce without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Soil health is the foundation of the farm's approach: practices include compost, natural soil amendments, cover crops, and regular soil testing to meet the specific needs of each crop.
