Regenerative vegetable farm offering CSA shares, a farm stand, and farmers' market produce.
Fat Donkey Farm is a regenerative vegetable operation in Fort Collins, founded by brothers-in-law Matt and Ryan, both native to Northern Colorado. The farm runs a CSA program that delivers weekly boxes of fresh vegetables to shareholders, with pickup available at the farm. Share sizes range from small (suited to individuals) to large (suited to families), and CSA members receive a discount on additional produce at the farm stand and farmers' market. Fat Donkey Farm also participates in the Larimer County Farmers' Market. A volunteer program is available for those who want a closer connection to the farm. Learn more on their About Page.
Fat Donkey Farm practices regenerative agriculture, an approach it describes as focused on building vibrant soil to produce nutrient-dense food. Weekly CSA boxes draw from what the farm grows on-site, with vegetables that vary by harvest and season. Produce available across the season includes beets, carrots, chard, cucumbers, green beans, kale, lettuce, mixed greens, onions, peppers, potatoes, radishes, snap peas, spinach, squash varieties, tomatoes, and turnips.
