Organically grown vegetables and eggs, sold at farmers markets and through a flexible CSA program.
Belafonte Farm is a market farm in Fort Collins, Colorado, run by farmer Dennis, a former mechanical engineer who drew on experience at farms in Maine and St. Croix before establishing this operation. The farm cultivates nine acres across two leased properties in Fort Collins, including land at the Flores del Sol Natural Area as part of the Northern Colorado Foodshed Project's Accelerator Program for beginning farmers. Belafonte Farm grows over 40 types and 100 varieties of vegetables, plus farm-fresh eggs by the dozen. Produce is available through a CSA program and at the Larimer County Farmers' Market, Boulder County Farmers Market, and the City of Loveland Farmers Market, as well as through local food hubs, events, and restaurants. Learn more on their About Page.
Belafonte Farm practices organic and regenerative farming across its two Fort Collins properties. Its stated mission includes building fertile soil, increasing biological diversity, and improving farm-use water efficiency. The CSA program operates through a flexible eGift Card model, allowing members to shop for their share at any farmers market the farm attends rather than receiving a fixed weekly box. Members choose their own items from the stand each week, selecting from the season's available vegetables and eggs.
