Farmer's Pick is a fresh cut flower farm established in 1995, situated on a 10-acre tree farm on the outskirts of Boise. The farm grows and sells only what it grows, offering flowers by the stem, by the bucket, as custom arrangements, and through a U-Pick field. Visitors can browse a Flower Bar and build their own bouquet, selecting from stems laid out buffet-style, or have an arrangement made for them on-site. DIY Buckets of Blooms are available for those who need volume for events or weddings. The flowerstand is open seasonally, running from mid-May through mid-October.
Farmer's Pick grows only what it sells. The farm focuses on beautiful, fragrant, and long-lasting floral varieties, including hardy naturalized species suited to Idaho's high desert climate. The majority of its plantings are long-term perennials, bulbs, and woody shrubs that return each year, alongside a summer annual U-Pick field featuring varieties such as sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, and amaranth. Flowers are sold by the stem, with varieties priced individually. The flowerstand operates on a cash-only basis.
