Ebersole Cattle Co. is a family-operated ranch outside Kellerton, Iowa, started by Beau and Shanen Ebersole in 1998 with ten cows. Beau's family raised Maine-Anjou cattle since the 1970s, and the operation has grown to around 150 mother cows with their children Adelyda, Jolene, and Wyatt involved in the business. The ranch raises 100% grass-fed Maine-Anjou beef, with all calves born on the farm and raised on pasture for their entire lives. Alongside beef, Ebersole Cattle Co. offers Berkshire pork bundles, including thick-cut bacon, Iowa pork chops, sirloin chops, ground pork, and sausage. All calves at Ebersole Cattle Co. are born on the farm and raised on pasture their entire lives, producing 100% grass-fed beef. The ranch raises Maine-Anjou cattle, a breed originally developed in the Maine and Anjou river valleys of France and prized for maternal qualities and beef quality. The operation practices regenerative ranching, with a focus on improving the land and sequestering carbon across the rolling hills of Southern Iowa.
