Big Creek Farms is a family farm in Lamoni, Iowa, raising heritage Pineywoods cattle and growing heirloom produce and cut flowers. The farm produces grass-fed and finished beef, sold by the cut, quarter, half, or whole. Customers who want a custom cut sheet can arrange a locker date for a half or whole beef. Seasonal cut flowers are available through a 15-week CSA subscription program offered in half and full shares, as well as at the Lamoni Farmers Market.
Big Creek Farms raises Pineywoods cattle on rotationally grazed pastures and finishes them entirely on grass. Beef is processed at inspected facilities. For its flower production, the farm uses no chemical fertilizers or herbicides and does not till its soil, working instead with natural soil health to grow its plants.
