Double C Bar Ranch is a third-generation, family-owned and operated cattle ranch and farm in Kenansville, Florida. Jimmy and Leslie Chapman founded the current operation, and their sons Denton, Gibbs, and Clifton now manage daily operations alongside their own families. The ranch raises purebred Brahman cattle and offers locally finished beef under its own Pasture+® label, available as ground beef or custom-cut half and whole shares. During blueberry season, Double C Bar Ranch opens its 20-acre U-Pick blueberry farm on Saturdays, where visitors can also pick up ranch-raised hamburgers, fresh-cut French fries, homemade lemonade, blueberry hand pies, jams, jellies, and other baked goods from the farm store.
Double C Bar Ranch's Pasture+® beef cattle spend their entire lives on grass pastures and are supplemented with an all-natural grain-based feed to develop marbling and flavor. The ranch states that its Pasture+® beef is never treated with hormones or antibiotics. After processing, the beef is dry-aged for approximately 21 days before customers pick it up at the ranch, frozen and packed for transport. The ranch describes itself as striving to be good stewards of the land and animals in its care.
