Deep Roots Farm

Deep Roots Farm is a family-owned market farm in Penngrove founded by Christopher Herrera, a multigenerational Sonoma County farmer. The farm grows fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and raises pasture-raised chickens and goats, with produce and proteins sold through weekly Farm Box subscriptions, an online shop, and a farmstand open mid-week through Saturday. Shoppers can choose from produce, flower, and protein box options, with online orders available for farmstand pickup. The farm also supplies restaurants and farmers markets throughout Northern California. U-pick berries and flowers are available on Saturdays, and the farmstand hosts a monthly on-farm market pop-up featuring local vendors and live demonstrations. Seasonal offerings include Christmas trees in December.
