Brookshire Farm raises 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef, along with pasture-raised chicken and pasture-raised pork. Calves are born on the farm and raised alongside their mothers in open pastures on a natural timetable. The farm selects each cow with attention to conformation suited to grass finishing and to temperament. Cuts are dry-aged in a temperature-controlled cooler for 14 to 21 days to maximize tenderness and deepen natural beef flavor. Brookshire Farm's cattle are raised entirely on forage and are never supplemented with grain. The farm uses no growth stimulants, antibiotics, or other synthetic additives. Pastures are managed to graze grasses at optimal growth stages to support both pasture health and the animals' nutritional needs.
