Bray Grove Farm is a small family-run polyculture farm in Grundy County, Illinois, operating as an L3C. The farm uses alternative tillage techniques and rotates produce and cover crops to preserve soil fertility. It also reserves more than 50% of its tillable land as habitat for beneficial insects, native plants, and wildlife. The farm describes its goal as achieving a self-sustaining ecosystem that avoids importing outside inputs.
