The farm raises a herd of 100% pasture-raised bison and sells a wide range of bison meat cuts directly to the public, from ground bison and steaks to roasts, sausages, and organ meats. Customers can also purchase bison in larger quantities, including a quarter-bison option. Bama Bison raises its bison entirely on pasture, with grass and natural forage making up 95% of the animals' lifetime diet, making them grass-fed and grass-finished. The farm uses a regenerative approach to land management and prioritizes humane animal husbandry, raising all animals in an environment that encourages natural behaviors and low stress. Bison are humanely field harvested and processed in a USDA-inspected facility. All meat is dry-aged for a minimum of 14 days. No growth hormones or antibiotics are used.
