U-pick blueberry farm with on-farm honey, operating since 1990.
Alpine Berry Farm is a small, family-run u-pick blueberry operation run by Ted and Kathy Cooley. The farm has been in operation since 1990 and grows blueberries on less than one acre. Visitors can pick their own berries during the seasonal harvest or purchase pre-picked berries when available. The farm also sells raw blueberry blossom honey, harvested from hives kept on the property and packaged in glass jars. A restored, 120-year-old barn serves as the on-farm hub, with restrooms, water, and seating available for visitors. Cash, check, and Zelle are accepted; credit cards are not.
Alpine Berry Farm grows its blueberries without herbicides or pesticides, and uses certified organic fertilizer. The on-farm honey is produced from hives situated near the blueberry patch; the beekeeper keeps honey from the farm separate from honey collected at other sites, which is why the farm markets it as blueberry blossom honey. Honey is packaged in glass jars and sold directly from the barn counter.
