Family-owned USDA certified organic dairy farm, creamery, and farmstead restaurant in Indiana.
Traders Point Creamery is a family-owned dairy farm, creamery, and farmstead restaurant. It holds the distinction of being Indiana's first USDA certified organic dairy. The creamery has produced artisan dairy products in small batches using traditional methods since 2003, with a product line that includes milk, cheese, ice cream, and eggnog, all packaged in glass bottles and jars. The farm is also home to the Loft Restaurant, a farm-to-table dining room with seasonal menus for lunch, brunch, and dinner, as well as a Dairy Bar and farm store. Traders Point Creamery hosts farm tours, event venues, and recurring seasonal events throughout the year. Learn more on their About Page.
Traders Point Creamery's organic certification is verified by Indiana Certified Organic, an independent authority that confirms compliance with USDA standards. The farm does not use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or hormones. Its herd of Brown Swiss and Jersey cows is 100% grassfed with no grain, and the animals are free to roam in pastures. All dairy products are made from non-homogenized milk: the creamery pasteurizes but deliberately skips homogenization to preserve the natural state of the fat molecules, resulting in a creamline, full-fat product. Products are packaged in glass bottles and jars. The Loft Restaurant follows an organic and sustainable sourcing approach, with chef-driven menus that rotate with the seasons.
