Sustainable family farm raising chickens, turkeys, and bees, and growing seasonal produce, strawberries, and eggs.
Little By Little Farm is a family farm that has grown from 5 acres and a handful of animals into a multi-acre operation raising chickens, turkeys, and honeybees alongside seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Products include fresh eggs in several varieties, whole chickens (never frozen, no antibiotics), strawberries from over 3,000 plants, strawberry jam, salsa, raw honey, fresh vegan pasta, and Guatemalan coffee beans roasted in Indianapolis. In-season products are available at on-farm market days, at the Zionsville Farmers Market, and through Market Wagon. Beyond produce and meat, the farm offers a Farm Academy with in-person and online courses, seasonal yoga on the farm, and a Rent-a-Chick program. Learn more on their About Page.
Little By Little Farm states that it uses only natural and sustainable processes, free from pesticides and harmful fertilizers, with the goal of maintaining a smaller carbon footprint. Whole chickens are sold fresh and never frozen, and are raised without antibiotics. The farm operates a 30-by-50-foot greenhouse and keeps a colony of approximately 400,000 honeybees that produce around 20 gallons of honey per year. The farm's crew lives and works on-site. Coffee beans are sourced from Guatemala and roasted locally in Indianapolis.
