Theo's Market Gardens is a family farm and roadside market in Littleton, Massachusetts, operating on land that has been under agricultural cultivation since 1710. The Theodoros family has farmed the property since 1931, making them only the fourth family to work this historic landscape known as Scratch Flat. Originally a dairy and apple orchard operation, the farm was converted to fruit and vegetable production and eventually became the farm stand it is today. Now in its fifth generation under owner Jamie, the farm grows vegetables, strawberries, corn, raspberries, grapes, and other specialty crops, sold directly to customers at its historic farm market. The market also stocks produce from trusted regional growers and suppliers to complement what is grown on the homestead. Weekend pop-up vendors join the market seasonally. Theo's Market Gardens prioritizes direct-to-customer sales, bringing produce from the fields to the farm stand counter. The farm runs one of the area's longest-standing CSA programs, offering several share options across the growing year: a Jump Start Share for early spring crops such as asparagus, fiddleheads, and leafy greens; an 18-week Summer Share running from strawberry season through October; a Fall Extender covering late-season crops like broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts; and a 22-week Winter Harvest Share spanning Thanksgiving through April that includes storage crops, fresh greens, local goods, pasture-raised meats, and fresh milk. A year-round, commitment-free Farm Box Friday option is also available. CSA members receive pick-your-own access to strawberries, flowers, and herbs, along with farm stand discounts. A Market Cash program offers bonus value for those who prefer flexibility over a weekly share.
