A biodiverse family farm offering pasture-raised eggs, seasonal produce, and guided U-pick experiences.
The Nest Box is a 5.25-acre biodiverse family farm in San Martin, California, run by Stephanie and Jorge Rocha. The farm produces pasture-raised eggs, organically grown seasonal fruit and produce, and handmade goods including seasonal honey. Guests can visit the farm stand during open hours or book a guided experience to tour the orchard, berry patch, pastures, and chicken coops. Two ticketed experiences are offered: the "Taste the Farm" guided U-pick tour and the "Life in the Coop" eggs-perience, both of which include a half-dozen eggs. The farm also hosts private events and offers barn rental. Learn more on their About Page.
The Nest Box raises hens on open pasture, where they forage, scratch, and roam freely. The flock is supplemented with a local organic feed that is free of corn, soy, and seed oils. The farm describes its approach as regenerative and biodiverse, maintaining a mixed operation of chickens, goats, sheep, miniature horses, and pigs alongside its orchard, berry patch, and produce growing areas.
