Pasture-raised, grain-finished beef from a fourth-generation cattle ranch in the Gilroy foothills.
BR Beef LLC is a family-owned beef business rooted in Bianchi Ranches, a fourth-generation cattle operation on approximately 5,200 acres in the rolling foothills outside Gilroy. The family has run cattle at this location for over 50 years. BR Beef sells individual cuts, quarter, half, and whole beef shares, and jerky, available through online ordering and farmers markets. Stocker calves are sourced from Bianchi Ranches at eight months of age and raised on sustainable grasslands spanning Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey Counties. Cattle move freely across pasture and are grain-finished: natural grasses are supplemented with corn and brewer's spent grain, the latter sourced through partnerships with local breweries to reduce food waste. All calves are raised free of hormones and antibiotics.
