Small-scale market garden offering seasonal CSA vegetable boxes and year-round microgreens.
Sunroot Farm is a small-scale market garden north of Whitehorse growing a wide range of greens and vegetables. It offers summer CSA subscriptions, delivering a rotating weekly assortment of fresh produce directly to Whitehorse neighbourhoods. Subscribers can expect greens such as kale, mesclun mix, and microgreens alongside root vegetables, brassicas, and other seasonal picks. Microgreens are grown year-round indoors and are available for weekly order as well as through select local retail stores. The farm also accepts custom orders by email. Subscribers receive storage and cooking guidance alongside each delivery.
Sunroot Farm follows a biologically intensive growing approach and uses crop rotation as part of its standard growing methods. The farm grows its vegetables pesticide-free. Summer harvests are done on Sundays so that produce reaches subscribers on Mondays. Microgreens are grown to order indoors year-round, with a lead time built in so each batch is harvested at peak readiness. The farm uses minimal packaging across its deliveries.
